The time and the voice of personal assistants.


Technology giants such as Amazon, Google, and Apple are turning their efforts to developing products that do not require the direct interaction of the human hand, digital assistants gain space and relevance in people’s daily lives and open space for new technologies and services.

In this year’s SXSW, during the “Developing for the Age of Digital Assistants” panel, Google’s Digital Assistant Product Manager, Brad Adams, presented at a high level several features and components that make up Google Home (Google Digital Assistant) , from microphones and software capable of identifying activation keywords like “hey, Google”, “hey, Siri” and “Alexa”, as well as the intelligence embedded in each of the devices so that it is not necessary to traffic data over the network to identify an activation.
